Volunteer Commitment
I have also spent my volunteer time serving on various non-profit boards, service clubs and committees. My commitment to education extends beyond my career. In 2015, I was elected to the Liberty Public School District Board of Education.
My stint on the Board was especially meaningful as I spent grades K-12 in the district and served as the Assistant to the Superintendent for Communications.
In addition, I serve as a member of the Board of Trustees (Emerita) at my alma mater, William Jewell College.
I was proud to co-chair the Diversity and Inclusion Task Force that established the first office of Diversity and Inclusion on campus.
Swearing in for school board and Jewell Trustee.
